The Tour Guides Cooperative is committed to providing its guests with exceptional tourism experience while
ensuring fairness and transparency in all booking and payment procedures. Accordingly, the following cancellation
and refund policy has been adopted:
1. Cancellation Before the Tour Date
– Guests may cancel their booking up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled start of the tour and will be entitled
to a full refund within (7) business days.
– If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours but more than 2 hours before the tour start time, the guest will
be refunded 50% of the total tour amount.
– If the cancellation occurs within 2 hours before the tour or after it has started, no refund will be issued.
2. Tour Postponement
– Guests may reschedule their tour once only, provided that the request is made at least one day before the
scheduled tour date.
– The paid amount will be held as credit and can be used to book another tour within 30 days of the original
booking date.
– Failure to reschedule within this period will result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
3. During the Tour and Additional Services
– The tour officially begins at the designated meeting or departure point. Late arrivals are considered “noshows” and are not eligible for any refund or compensation.
– Any additional or special services requested during the tour (such as extra hours, private transportation, or
access to paid attractions) will be charged separately and must be paid on the same day.
– Once the tour has started, no cancellation or refund requests will be accepted.
4. Payment Policy
– Full payment is required in advance to confirm any booking.
– The tour is only considered confirmed after the Cooperative receives official payment confirmation.
5. Tour Cancellation by the Cooperative
– The Cooperative reserves the right to cancel or postpone the tour due to force majeure (such as bad
weather, site closures, or regulatory or safety reasons).
– In such cases, guests may choose between a full refund or rescheduling the tour to another suitable date.
6. Fairness and Transparency
– All cancellations and refunds must be processed through the Cooperative’s official communication
channels.
– This policy applies to all types of tours (individual, group, or private), unless otherwise specified in a
written agreement.
7. If the booking was made through a third-party platform or travel agency, the refund will be processed through
that same platform, in accordance with its specific terms and conditions
8. Force majeure events (including natural disasters, road closures, or unexpected government decisions) are
considered valid reasons for full refund without deductions.
9. All payments and refunds are processed in Saudi Riyals (SAR), and any applicable bank or transaction fees may be
deducted from the refunded amount.
